Happy New Year to everyone! First we would like to thank everyone who supported the Gift Wrap Store this year at the mall. It was such a successful fundraiser and, as always, so much fun!

This year, Domestic Violence Prevention, Inc. is celebrating 30 years of service. We are planning many fun events to celebrate this milestone. Please stay tuned for more information on an upcoming dance-a-thon, antique/classic/custom car and motorcycle show, and casino night! It is going to be a great year and we look forward to celebrating it with you!

The candlelight vigil that was set for this evening will be re-scheduled due to rain to November 3rd from 6pm-7pm. The vigil will still be held at the TCC/A&M walking trail. The purpose of this vigil is to remember those who lost their lives as well as support our community members who are experiencing domestic violence. There will be light refreshments, music, and a testimony from a local survivor. It is our duty as individuals to help other members of the community in their time of need. Come out and show your support!

The candlelight vigil in Hope has been cancelled due to the weather. Please plan on joining us for the candlelight vigil in Texarkana on October 27th from 6:30-7:30pm at the walking trail beside Texas A&M. If you have any questions, feel free to call Ashley at 903-794-4000. Thank you!
